Collectively, the band boasts 1000 years of experience! Leader Don Stewart appeared on ARTS TALK on WSLR 96.5 FM on December 28, talking with Jennifer Walker about up-coming events and playing our CD. The GOOD TIME GROOVE offers dance music, swing, jazz, rock, latin and more. We're BOOKING for the 2011-2012 season, and have events already scheduled. WE PLAYED Sunday Jan 15 at 7 PM at a repeat concert-dance at New Life Lutheran Church. Our 1st appearance at the Loft-Risto on Jan 18 was postponed due to Mgmt screw-ups. BUT: Phillippi Park (Feb.23, 2012 at noon) is on; on March 21 we'll be back at the Englewood Sports Complex, in Venice, at 2 PM. We expect to announce more events at the Loft-Risto and Glenridge Perf. Arts Center soon! Come hear America's big-band music; this has an 80-year history, so plenty of variety is available, and called-for. We play it all! MUST ALSO ADD: We now have a CD available; this was made in October and represents the Good Time Groove AND Judi Edwards well.
